And as the future becomes the past, we look back to Onancock city fathers and long time residents to mention a few:  Ridgway Dunton, I.W. Bagwell III, Ben Askew, Carrie Carter, the Wescotts, the Scotts, the Custis', the Fosques, the Lilleston's, and others to say, "Thank You" for having the insight to hold true to Onancocks' history, and its Chesapeake Bay heritage..............

The web page is in memory of the late
Starr Mason
March 22, 1917 to March 14, 1999

She dedicated nineteen years of her life to the Town of Onancock serving as Council-person from 1978 to 1986.  She became Mayor in 1986 and served until she retired in 1998. She left a legacy of many accomplishments and because of Starr Mason, Onancock is a better place for today and tomorrow.
