Chincoteague Island's most Historic and Romantic Inn!

1848 Island Manor House Bed and Breakfast
(circa 1848)
One day a young lady came to visit from Baltimore and in due course the Postmaster eventually fell in love and married her. Her sister came for a visit and, would you believe, the Doctor married the sister. However, the two sisters did not enjoy living under the same roof, so they split the house in half and moved the front half next door.
Today, after 150 years, the two houses have been joined together again with a large garden room, and they make up the Island Manor House. The houses have been beautifully restored and furnished in Federal style.
For your convenience, the Island Manor House Bed and Breakfast is open year round.
The luxury of days gone by with the enjoyment of today!
