Seafood at its best Delicious beef dishes Vegetarian's Delight Located in the historic waterfront community of Onancock, Virginia on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Flounder's Restaurant resides in a 19th century Victorian home that was recently refurbished by owners, Darryl and Linda Hurley. Upon visiting Flounder's you'll step back in time to days gone by.  Darryl and Linda have strived to maintain the heritage of this beautiful old home and its wonderful past. You'll find original wall paper, wood flooring, lighting, and more.  It makes for a great outting, whether its brunch on Sunday, lunch during the week, or an evening out for casual or fine dining. While at Flounder's, visit the Antique Gift Shop on the second floor.  All seafood and vegetables are local from the Eastern Shore of Virginia; there is an ever changing menu with vegetarian dishes and beef for the non-seafood lover. All desserts are home-made: and, there are specialty drinks, ask about Flounder's "Famous Blue Whale". Menu items include Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab meat. Visitors arriving at Onancock Wharf by boat can call 787-2233 for reservations; Flounder's Restaurant will shuttle restaurant guests to and from Onancock Wharf upon request. Not shown is the upstairs patio and facilities for private parties.  It is always good to call ahead for reservations, especially around holidays.
