Visitors from the Fishing Bay Yacht and Country Club, the Mathews Yacht and Country Club, and the Annapolis Landing Marina joined other guests from around the Chesapeake Bay for an evening of  fun and frolic at the Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club.  Transportation, by Star Transit, from and to Onancock Wharf  for boaters was furnished.

Roy and  Joan as well as Doyle and Gale (shown right) were among the last the leave the dinner dance.  "It was certainly a fun time and one that I hated to see end", quoted Joan  from Annapolis Landing Marina.

By far, the Fishing Bay Yacht and Country Club had the largest participation by boaters.  They were decked out with an array of  costumes as shown below.  Maphis Oswald, Onancock Regatta Weekend  Dinner Dance Coordiantor, announces  the Fishing Bay Yacht and Country Club Costume Winners as other participants cheered them on.

It was an evening that began with a happy hour, then a fantastic meal, awards and dancing until closing.  It was individuals from afar who joined Eastern Shore residents for an evening of delightful entertainment.

Willie Crockett (seated right), local Onancock resident and world renown wildlife artist through his contributions, each year has assisted the Onancock Business and Civic Association in their efforts to provide a diversified weekend event that everyone enjoys.

Criteria for the evening: Fun, smiles, and laughter.  When you arrive home, you know that you
may have met new people, possibly made new friends; but above all, you've donated your time and funds to give
to a worthwhile cause.
